As announced at the San Diego Comic Con event, Vicarious Visions revealed the first free DLC level you can get for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. It’s a level that was cut from the original game.
The free level in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is none other than Stormy Ascent. The reason the level was cut back in the day was because it was way too hard. It was still on the disc, but it was hidden away not meant to be playable.
The level is available to download from now until the next 30 days (August 19th). Presumably after that, it might be paid DLC so get it now when it’s free.
Vicarious Visions says that the reason they added the level back in is thanks to games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Hard games are fashionable nowadays so they wanted to give players an extra challenge.
