A recent job listing from Bethesda shows that the studio is currently seeking a Game Performance Manager in their Montreal office. It will be for a new IP.
Bethesda writes: “Bethesda Game Studios is looking for a great Game Performance Manager based in Montreal, to join the team that is pushing the bleeding-edge AAA freemium game development.”
The person they want has to be knowledgeable about monetization and in-game business model strategies. This person also has to have over five years of experience with AAA video game development.
Bethesda will be at this year’s E3 event so we might hear of an announcement for this game very soon. Bethesda usually doesn’t make freemium video games so this is a new venture for them. Hopefully this game ends up being good whatever it ends up being.
