Rumor: Assassin’s Creed Empire Revealed By Retailer

A retailer may have inadvertently revealed the next Assassin’s Creed game before Ubisoft had a chance to announce it. The new game might be called Assassin’s Creed Empire if the listing ends up being true.

Swiss retailer World of Games made a listing of Assassin’s Creed Empire on their website today. No other details were given, but you can pre-order it on the Xbox One, PC and PS4. Sadly, no Nintendo Switch logo could be seen.

All it says is that it will be developed and published by Ubisoft and it will be out in late 2017. No official box-art was given.

Sometimes retailer listings end up being true. It wasn’t too long ago that Target leaked Middle-Earth: Shadow of War before it was announced by Warner Bros. This could be true since Ubisoft took a break from the series in 2016. It only released the movie last year.
