If you are buying Resident Evil 7 this week, you will have to know that the game has a day-one update patch for you to download. It’s something you should install before you play the game.
If you own Resident Evil 7 on PS4, the file size for the update is roughly 800MB. Several things have been added to it so make sure you install it while you can.
The patch notes are: “Now supports add-ons, New trophies added, Now supports notifications of new additional chapters and Fixed certain bugs and issues“.
The new trophies are: “Ethan Never Dies (Gold) – Complete Ethan Must Die, Ratcatcher (Silver) – Find all the dead rats in Bedroom in a single play, Sleepless in Dulvey (Silver) – Complete Night Terror, Dead by Dawn? (Bronze) – Complete Nightmare and Like Mama Used to Make (Bronze) – Complete Bedroom”
The game is available on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on January 24th, 2017. If you own the PS4 version, you can play the entire game using the PlayStation VR headset if you want to.
