To help tell you the story of the Injustice 2 video game coming out later this year, the prequel comic book series will be released a month before to give you some background details.
As reported by Kotaku, a prequel comic for Injustice 2 will be released on April 11th, 2017. Writer Tom Taylor and artist Bruno Redondo are back as they previously wrote the other Injustice comic book series
The comic will tell us what happens between the events of Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2. There is a five year gap between the two games so there’s lot of stories to tell.
The comic book series will be released weekly in digital format starting on April 11th. It’s a great companion piece to have before the game comes out on May 16th for PS4 and Xbox One. NetherRealm Studios has yet to confirm if the game will ever be ported to the PC or Nintendo Switch.
