A verified EA community manager just tweeted the words Skate 4 on his official Twitter account today. Is this a tease that a new game is coming out?
If you click here, you can see that EA community manager, Daniel Lingen, tweeted out “#skate4“. His Twitter account has not been hacked, so this is not a hoax. Sadly, though he didn’t follow up on the Skate 4 tweet after that.
Whether or not this means something we don’t know yet. We do know that Skate 3 was recently made Xbox One backwards compatible and this sparked a newfound interest in the skateboarding genre.
It’s been over seven years since Skate 3 came out in 2010. Not to mention fans of skateboarding want to play a new decent game since Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 ended up being a flop in 2015.
EA will be holding its EA Play event later this year so hopefully the company is planning on reviving the dormant series. Hopefully Mr Lingen isn’t just trolling everyone with his aforementioned tweet.
