E3 2015: Predictions For Sony’s Conference

More Destiny

Sony’s gone all in with their partnership with Bungie and Activision, releasing exclusive weapons and even strike maps for the RPG shooter. What perfect place to announce the next core entry in the Destiny franchise than during Sony’s press conference. While I don’t expect a completely new title to be announced quite to soon, I do foresee Bungie releasing an retail expansion that puts the previous two expansions to shame. A couple of new planets, plenty of new strikes (including some that don’t require maximum level, as a sort of training wheel for new characters to keep them interested for what’s to come when they hit the level cap) and bundling in both the base game and two expansions all in a new full priced retail disc release could capture both newcomers that held out for so long as well as get more money from players that might have dabbled with the game a few times before.
