Rockstar Games is one of the most respects developers in the gaming industry, with quality game after quality game coming from the studio. As a result, gamers have been anxiously awaiting the first next-gen Rockstar title, which is coming sooner than we may have expected.
During today’s Take-Two financial call, CEO Strauss Zelnick teased a game for next-gen consoles.
We’re excited about what [Rockstar] have in store for the new generation of systems this fiscal year.
This pretty much confirms that something is coming, which could very likely be the long rumored next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto V. I’m still holding out hope for Red Dead Redemption 2, but I seriously doubt that would be coming out before the end of March 2015. Stay tuned around E3, as while Rockstar doesn’t usually attend the event, they could try to gain some attention by announcing this game themselves anyways
