The PS3 became the best selling video game console in Australia in 2013.
The PS3 has been the most popular video game console in Australia for three years running now according to a press release from Sony Computer Entertainment Australia.
Sony Australia also went on to say that the PS4 has now overtaken the Xbox One to become the console of choice for next generation gamers.
“It has been an enormous 12 months for PlayStation in Australia,” said Michael Ephraim, managing director at Sony Computer Entertainment Australia. “These results reflect not only the passion Australians have for the PlayStation brand overall, but also the strength of the individual platforms we have.”
