This week’s new releases are perhaps the most exciting since I started this feature. This is as a result of the impending PlayStation 4 launch this Friday, which means there are a ton of games for the console coming alongside the launch. We actually have some releases of current gen titles on the PlayStation 4 a little early this Tuesday with games like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Madden NFL 25, and NBA 2K14. In fact, NBA 2K14 will also be the Xbox One title to release on that same day. Also, don’t forget that Killzone: Shadow Fall has been available for a week or so now if you have not picked it up for the launch.
Outside of the PlayStation 4, we have a few other titles worth mentioning such as XCOM: Enemy Within and Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus on Tuesday. The first story DLC comes for Bioshock Infinite, titled Burial at Sea – Episode 1, on Tuesday as well. Also, don’t forget about Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games on Friday as it goes up against the PlayStation 4 launch.
