Parsec Productions and Blue Isle Studios, has announced that Slender: The Arrival will hit Steam this Halloween with new content.
Slender: The Arrival is a prequel to the extremely popular and terrifying game Slender: The Eight Pages, which went completely viral a few years ago. The player character enters a fenced off forest in the middle of the night, in search of eight pages that are scattered all around the map. Armed with only a flash light and your skinny legs, the player must collect these eight pages, all the while being stalked by a tall, faceless, suited figure that can only move when not observed (similar to that of the Weeping Angels in Doctor Who). As the player collects more pages, the music becomes more tense and the Slenderman becomes faster.
Slender: The Arrival follows similarly to it’s predecessor with the same gameplay expect with better visuals, increased content, more levels and a storyline has been introduced. Blue Isle Studios has also stated that the game officially has beta support for the virtual reality headset, Oculus Rift.
