Nintendo revealed today that Pokemon Bank, the new cloud service where Pokemon X and Y players can store their Pokemon online, will launch later this year.
To be exact, those who are planning to purchase Pokemon X and Pokemon Y next can expect the Pokemon Bank to launch worldwide on December 27th through the Nintendo eShop. When the app launches later this year, 3DS owners can download the app for $5, though the first month will be free if you download and use the app by January 31, 2014.
According to Nintendo, Pokemon Bank will be a paid service. To use them, players must purchase the service yearly for $5. Those who will purchase the app will have access to 100 storage boxes, allowing fans to store up to 3,000 Pokemon.
