Australian rugby player Quade Cooper has been fined $10,000 for a tweet criticizing the Rugby Challenge video game.
The tweet was made a month ago when a fan asked him if he liked FIFA 12 or Rugby Challenge? Quade Cooper responded by saying: “Rugby challenge is the shi##t game“.
The reason why Quade Cooper was fined for a tweet like this was because Rugby Challenge is a game that is licensed by the Australian Rugby Union (ARU).
This is like if LeBron James was to slag off on NBA 2K13 for some reason.
Quade Cooper was fined for lots of other things too. Although do you think it’s fair that he was fined $10,000 for slagging off on a video game via twitter?
