Capcom Announce New Game ‘Remember Me’ At Gamescom
Hot off the heels of their Gamescom conference Capcom have announced the development of a brand new IP from French developer Dontnod Entertainment, scheduled for release on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC in May 2013.
The third person action game Remember Me, is set in a futuristic Neo Paris in the year 2084 in a world where memories can be stolen, changed, purchased and even deleted in an incredible looking cyber-punk vision of Paris, players will adopt the role Nilin, a member of a group of people known as the Errorists who are fighting for control against the company behind the technology Memoreyes.
The premise of this interesting new IP is that Nilin is one of the Errorists whom when “her own memory is erased …begins her journey to reclaim her identity and discover how she can change the world.”
Now if all all of this sounds familiar its because this is the new title for the previously named Adrift. Remember Me has an incredible art-style that is sure to remind gamers of the Deus Ex series with the cyber-punk setting, and gameplay that seems to suggest Devil May Cry inspiration.
For now, the game looks very intriguing both as a new IP and as a game from Capcom we’ll have to wait and see.
