Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition Reaches Another Milestone

Several weeks ago, Notch revealed via Twitter that the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft has sold over a million copies within the first week of the game’s release on Xbox Live. Today, the game has reached another milestone as Notch revealed that the sales for Minecraft has “passed three million sales today!’

Reaching three million sales makes Minecraft Xbox 360 edition very profitable to 4J Studios and Mojang itself. Multiplying three million to its twenty dollar retail price, the game has gathered at least sixty million dollars altogether in sales. Wow, now that’s a good thing!
