Although Bloodforge was released to many other parts of the world, it never came out in New Zealand. Microsoft NZ has sent a press release that it is no longer releasing the game in the country.
Here’s an official statement from Microsoft:
“Subsequent to reviewing the NZ certification requirements, we regret to advise that ‘Bloodforge’ will not be available on Xbox LIVE in New Zealand. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and remain committed to delivering great titles on Xbox LIVE Arcade including the recently launched Winter of Arcade series featuring Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD and Wreckateer.”
It’s one of the only few games since the Manhunt games not to be certified for release in New Zealand due to its violent nature.
