Capcom Announces Losses But Expects Huge Year Ahead

Capcom reported its quarterly earnings for the fiscal year ending March 31st, 2012. Sales were down from the year before but the company remains optimistic for the year ahead.

The biggest seller for Capcom was Monster Hunter 3G. The game sold an impressive 1.6 million copies. Sales of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City remained steady but sales of Street Fighter X Tekken were lagging.

Capcom expects business to rise thanks to the release of Resident Evil 6 in October. Not to mention that Dragon’s Dogma is due out later this month which could Capcom as well.
