Sony Registers PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale Domain

Rumors regarding a Sony game in the same vein as Super Smash Bros. have been present for some time now. We’ve seen leaked images of iconic PlayStation mascots (ex: Sweet Tooth) involvement in the unannounced fighting game. Now, we have even more proof of the game’s existence and it’s all thanks to Sony’s recent domain registration.

The following address has been registered by the company: playstationallstarsbattleroyale.com. Here’s all the information straight from the site:

Registrant:
Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC
   919 E Hillsdale Blvd
   Foster City, CA 94404
   US

   Domain Name: PLAYSTATIONALLSTARSBATTLEROYALE.COM

   Record created on 17-Jan-2012.

   Domain servers in listed order:

   NS78.WORLDNIC.COM 206.188.198.39

I’d go ahead and bet that Sony’s E3 press conference will have something to say about this brawler. We’ll be sure to update you if any new details or, if we’re lucky, if Sony officially announced the title before the big event. If we are extremely lucky, we’ll hear about a Vita version with cross-platform capabilities. It could happen.

  1. Very awesome if this happens. It’s looking more and more like it is, so I’m excited.
