Road Dogg Jesse James tweeted some interesting news a few days ago saying he and his partner Billy Gunn finished voice work for WWE ’13.
A fan asked on twitter if he’s been approached by THQ to be in WWE ’13. He replied “already did the voiceovers“. The fan then asked if Monty Sopp (Billy Gunn) is in the game too. He said “he is“!
This could confirm that both guys will be in WWE ’13. X-Pac was also approached to appear in WWE ’13 although it’s not clear if he’s still in the game or not.
Take this news as a rumor for now as THQ has yet to officially confirm any details about the game.
I REALLY hope this is true.
With this “confirmation” from double-G about himself, and Bad Ass (i thought he had beef with the bosses son-in-law, HHH) along with the DDP article over @ ESPN, this would be a solid start IF the Attitude Era theme rings true, and not just a storyline in RTW.
The same hope lies with the inclusion of X-Pac. I was reading a recent interview by Gangrel, and he said that the WWE had leased out his name from White Wolf, and a load of copyright issues arose from that. That could screw over his chances of making it.
