Crysis on the Xbox 360 is Broken – Where’s my Achievements [Updated]

Crytek was kind to let us know that a fix on its way on the Xbox 360.

As you can imagine, the problem with achievements not being updated on 360 has been a big concern for us here at Crytek. Thankfully, I’m told the issue has been resolved and we’re just waiting for it to propagate across LIVE.

With Crysis now available on the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Marketplace, there seems to be a problem with the game’s launch.
For those who purchased the game today, one of the things they’ll notice is that when they try to look for achievements, it’s not there. Whether you look on the dashboard, or know a friend playing the game and you look at their game history, it just won’t show up. However, according to people who already have played and bought the game, including myself, the game has achievements as we’ve already unlocked one.
Also, the game shows up as “Unknown” if you ask someone to view your profile on Xbox.com while you play the game.
It seems that Crysis on the Xbox 360 needs some patch. Could it be that what is now available is not the final retail copy? We’ll see if later today, EA and Microsoft will patch the game up to enable the achievement list.
As for the release of the PSN version, let’s hope it won’t have this problem.

Downloaded it from Market Place just fine and having fun fun fun!!! Doesn’t look quite as real as the PC version but looks a Kazillion times better than any other game on the 360!
Every FP shooter lover should get this one! I don’t know how I’m going to drag myself off this tomorrow to play RAGE! Life can be so unfair sometimes! And you thought you had problems!
