It was rumored a few months ago that Gran Turismo 5’s optional install size could be as big as 10GB. The real size of the install has now been revealed.
PS3 owners can be relieved that the optional size won’t be close to 10GB. The real size of the install will be around 6.4GB according to The Sixth Axis.
Sony previously mentioned that the install is only optional however, it’s recommended if you want faster loading times.
Gran Turismo 5 is out exclusively for the PS3 from November 24th.
In game, it claimed that the install would take up to 8gb. And to install, i think it took around 40-50 minutes. I can’t remember how long ‘exactly’ cause i kinda wandered off for awhile.
