E3 2010: Expect Two Expansions to Two Worlds II

Two Worlds, when it came out several years ago didn’t get any expansion due to the poor sales and mediocrity of the game. With the sequel, Two Worlds II, hitting stores this Fall, expect two massive expansions.

As the PR of South Peak Games is telling me the things that I should expect to their upcoming Two Worlds II, one of the things that he mentioned is that Two Worlds II have an expansion pack planned for Q1 or Q2 2011. Two Worlds II is a 20-25 hour game without doing any sidequest but with the expansion, expect to spend more time with the game.

Two Worlds II is scheduled for Fall release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

  1. your article is kind of confusing… you say that two worlds II is coming out this month yet other articles say that it has been pushed back to october…so i am lost :(

  2. As fun as the game is there’s no way that without side quests this game will provide 20-25 hours of gameplay. I can understand a novice player(someone who doesn’t play RPG games) getting 20-25 hours out of the main quest, but realistically any avid game will finish the main quest line and the side quests within 30-35 hours easily.

    Pros:
    – Fun(if you like this kind of game)
    – Looks good(i’ve seen better, but it’s nice enough to please me)
    – Runs good (doesn’t need the latest greatest system)
    – Only some minor bugs, i’ve seen alot worse
    – Easy to learn(really it’s hard to go wrong)

    Cons:
    – Won’t last, i’d be surprised if anyone wants to play this game more then a couple of times over
    – Game world is very limited(play it, you’ll understand)
    – No repopulation of nearly all enemies
    – No restock of loot taken from chests inside properties(eg. houses)
    – Various areas of the world non-accessible(see discussions on SP vs MP modes)
    – Just not enough of everything(it feels like half a game – again play it to see what i mean)

Good game, just a let down in quite a few areas, i’m hoping The Elder Scrolls V will do better.. (ESIV was good, five can only be better, i hope).
