Upon booting your PlayStation 3, you will be prompted to download the newest firmware update that will add features to your PlayStation 3. In version 3.30 firmware, the update will prepare the PS3 for the upcoming 3D HDTV and add a Trophy Enhancement that everyone has been waiting for.
Take a peek on the full list of things that can be expected when the PS3 Firmware is downloaded.
* Trophy enhancements –- Now you can more easily sort trophies in the [Trophy Collection] and [Comparing Trophy] sections. Sorting can be done with [Trophy Collection] in the [Game Category] and also when comparing trophies with your friends in the [Friend Category]
o Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/ by title according to the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
o Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending)
o Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the trophy (ascending/descending)
so when will they let us delete the unwanted trophys like the games i’ve rented and no longer have or intend of buying the game….would be good to be able to delete the unwanted games we hae trophies for….

They had to take away PS2 support because it cost way to much to produce a part that was becoming rarer and rarer. And software emulation SUCKED.
And they took away linux to prevent people from hacking the PS3 because of security issue, and the fact that only 1/50 or so users actually used linux, and i guess a bunch of people are morons and thought that Other OS was a virus or something.
And various other issues including licensing and stuff..
Ah well, One less non-gamer who owns a ps3; Big deal.. While you’re busy saying how you hate sony so much, the rest of us will be gaming. That is what a game system is all about.
Khan I agree with you about sony removing ps2 support, but hulu and linux who cares, why would you want to install another OS on your ps3 if you have a computer… if sony removed linux support was only to protect his baby.

gamers want free, they don’t want to pay. What’s the point of buying a game system if it doesn’t come with everything you want in one package, blue-ray, upconvert, internet browser, free online, low noise, rechargable controller, youtube! Need I say more because “it only does everything”.
