God of War Collections – A Closer Look

This morning the God of War Collection for the PlayStation 3 was delivered to our Redwood City office. There is no swag or anything but we’re on an embargo for the review. Check back with us November 16 for the in-depth review of this collection.

  6. The God of War series are my favorite games. When i heard that the collection will give you a free voucher for the demo I was going to get it but I hope i win it here instead.

  17. I have a couple of questions, though:

    – Does it require an install?

    – Has the infamous pillar of death from Hades (GoW1) been tweaked to make it a little forgiving, or is it as annoying as ever?

  22. Looks interesting enough. I actually considered buying a PS2(despite owning a ps3 already) to play this game when i saw some reviews of the original before i found out this was coming out.

    Now i just have my fingers crossed “the darkwatch” will come out revamped on PS3 then i can leave the ps2 behind me.

    (dont send me the code, i dont have broadband. Although i could give it to my cousin)

I am a new fan for PS3, jumped the console train on 2008, i haven’t played the GOW 1 & 2 before, i am looking forward to get my hands on the collection warming up to the GOW3, i admire quality over quantity. Long live Sony. waiting impatiently for the review, i hope i am lucky to get the GOW 3 code…

  38. In Australia, we dont even get the gow collection till next year, so by the time if and when they release the demo the game will be out. Nice pics,

  42. I am waiting patiently for this, only got to play these games a few times on my buddies PS2. Well i finally have a PS3 and i want these games since they are now remastered. I just want a little chaos in my life!

  47. looks like a great set have been holding off on getting them for ps3 when i first heard they were coming to the ps3. Was a great game on the psp hoping for the same
