If you are one of the cheaters that plays Modern Warfare 2 on the PC, you better watch out as a Banhammer is supposed to be striking today. There are supposed to be top men on the team that are trying to track down every cheaters. Don’t worry, you will get caught!
According to the tweeted comment of Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling to one of the concerned gamer who is bothered by cheaters;
Top men are on it. In fact, the Steam ban hammer is coming down on about 2,500 confirmed #MW2 cheaters on PC today.
It’s a good thing they can’t hack the console version so far. It’s going to be a disaster if hackers finds a way to cheat over the console version of Modern Warfare 2.

3/4/2010 and the hacks on Steam MW2 are worse than ever VAC = garbage and steams server connections suck anymore. Why pay for a steam game that you can rarely get on to play and when you do its a bunch of no skill hackers sniping me without a scope from beyond visible range? 2 minutes into a round and someone had nuke set off. Watching kill cams of people insta 180 and head-shoting me as I run up behind them. I want my money back to buy the non steam version!
