The first batch of people who signed up for the upcoming Preview Program Dashboard on the XBOX 360 went live last night. As always, the dashboard update is now leaked online, making anyone who has a flash drive have the ability to update. The last Preview Program worked by just installing the leaked update, so this time, Microsoft made sure that anyone who installs this update without the Microsoft invite will be blocked from the XBOX Live access until the official update comes out on November 17.
If you see an update leaking around the internet, don’t get tempted. Just wait it out, or maybe try signing up for the Preview Program once there is an open slot. Remember, no access to XBOX Live if you installed this!

i recently got my XboX 360 back.
Haven’t been playing it regulary…I just hope I wouldn’t get the ring of death for this.
But I just play my PS3 all the time, I’m thinking of just getting this update. But if Xbox Live doesn’t work, would I still be able to twitter or use facebook.
Also, i just got my xbox 360 back and couldn’t find Xbox Live Primtime…where da hell is it???

I agree with Ben, everthing the 360 has to offer the PS3 does too. Online (For FREE), HD graphics (better than 360’s), and even an ok price now. HECK even the wii has free online, why not the 360, all i’m saying is that the only thing you get out of 360 and not on other consoles are the small things. Like exclusive games (like halo, which is getting really old), cross game chatting (which is rumored to come to PS3 soon), and well I’m not quite sure at this moment, can’t think of anything else.

yeh, this isnt what i’d call big news, i mean this happened with the NXE leaked update, i mean if your really that tempted you should get it one or two days before the new update, but 3 weeks without xbox live is a bit of hell personally. also the reason why xbox is better than the ps3 is because of the software lineup, and mainly due to how much better xbox live is that PSN or the wii’s online. frankly if nintendo asked for you to pay for the piece of crap they call online gaming, they would have nobody playing online what so ever.
