On Demand Games Are REGION LOCKED

With the Summer XBOX Live Update now available for all XBOX Live users, Games on Demand has already become very popular. Though some may consider the prices of the games a bit more expensive than they should be, users have already warmed up to this new service and are downloading in droves. However, all is not well. If you are one of the lucky few to have an Xbox Live account in a region other than your own, you may want to think twice before buying a downloadable game. The digital copies of these games are, you guessed it, region locked, just like their hardcopy counterparts.

Sorry folks, but it looks like those of you looking to get some of the Japan exclusive XBL games(all two of you) will be dissapointed. But hey, at least most games to release in Japan on the 360 also release here. It’s something right?
